Scouting
Scouting can be used to explore an area for challenges with terrain or obstacles. It is used to clear corridors, avoid bottleneck situations, and keep eyes as the rear guard or trailing as to what is behind the convoy or movement of assets. This can be used for movement of rescue boats, land vehicles or any method that vehicles or personnel are moved including horseback and on foot.
Overwatch
There are several types of overwatch but all of them are to monitor behavior and activities of crowds. The goal is top mitigate risk or harm to people. Event Overwatch is monitoring the behavior of crowds looking for abnormal behavior of individuals or groups. Security overwatch is protection of a high valued asset such as a speaker or official.
Reconnaissance
Reconnaissance can be used by the military, law enforcement, search and rescue and first responders. In an age where explosives are easily accessible and active shooters are prevalent it is critical to the time sensitive nature to ascertain information quickly without putting more people in harms way.
Tracking
Tracking is an evolution of highly technical photography and global position systems using satellites. The drone software will place an icon on the target and will track it following in front, left, right or behind the target.
